Situation

There was a boy named Ishaan Awasthi who is suffering from dyslexia. Unfortunately, his parents don’t know about what Ishaan suffering right now. His parents think that he is just a hard headed boy and lazy. He is very opposite with his brother Yohan who is smart and he makes their parents proud to him, he also wake up early and prepare his things in school, unlike with Ishaan he always makes his parents mad at him, and he is always woke up late. In class, he is always scolded because his answers are all wrong and sometimes he will say that “The letters are dancing”, and he is always imagining colors, fish, dogs, and other things that are moving. He also got home with very dirty look and he will not change his clothes, he will just directly go outside and play with their neighbours but his neighbours don’t want to play with him that is why he just plays with the dogs.

          When he was at school one of his classmate ask if he already let his paper work signed by his parents. Unfortunately he didn’t let his parents signed the paper works because it is failed. That is why he runs away before his teacher will come in. he go to the street and road, he even don’t know where to go because he thinks that is only the way to escape of having punishment. He went back to the school and he waited at the school bus until the class ended. When he got home he never tell someone except to his brother Yohan. When he told Yohan what happened his brother was shocked and Ishaan asked favour to his older brother to make excuse letter for him. At first Yohan refuse to make a letter but his younger brother beg him so at the end he did because he don’t want that Ishaan will get scolded again. But their father discovered it because Ishaan forgot to get the note in the magazine where his father is reading on it. So Ishaan was scolded and because of angriness of his father, his father and mother went to the school and they discover Ishaan poor performance in school and the principal advises the parents of Ishaan to let them Ishaan study on a special education but his parent don’t believe on it because they really think that their son is just a hard headed that is why his father decided to enrol Ishaan on a boarding school so that he will be disciplined.

          Things are still the same, Ishaan don’t know how to read well and write and the worst thing is Ishaan got trauma because of separation of his family which can be burden to his mind and the tendency is Ishaan cannot concentrate to the class.

          One day a new art teacher came with joy and optimism. The student was very enjoy of what he did in the class. His name is Ram Shankar Nikumbh. After his introduction in the class he let the students draw something that comes into their minds. All the children draw or paint except to Ishaan. So Mr. Nikumbh thinks of something that he can help Ishaan. Later on Mr. Nikumbh realized that Ishaan is not happy on his situation right now and he also discovered that Ishaan is having Dyslexia. Mr. Nikumbh went to the parents of Ishaan and he tells them that Ishaan is suffering from Dyslexia and their child is special. Again the father of Ishaan didn’t believe it but Mr. Nikumbh discover something that Ishaan is good of making art. After having a conversation with the parents of Ishaan he went back to the school. Mr. Nikumbh see Ishaan and he gave some of his work wich is Ishaan was touch. On the next day Mr. Nikumbh share a story in the class of a student who is having difficulties in writing and reading. Ishaan was scared when Mr. Nikumbh revealed the person behind the story because he thinks that he was the person who he meant, unfortunately he was wrong because it was Einstein, Leonardo da Vinci and Picasso. As days goes by Mr. Nikumbh help Ishaan in everything especially in writing and reading.

The school is helding a competition which is all students, teachers and staff will be involved. Ishaan woke up and left early, he went to his favorate place and when the competition begins everyone is excited and enjoy but Ishaan is still not there. After a few minutes Mr. Nikumbh saw Ishaan coming so he immediately give him a drawing paper and both of them started to paint. The announcement of winner was made; both of them win in the competition. There painting will be a touch on their year book which is the front page will be the work of Ishaan and the Front page is the work of Mr. Nikumbh. The teacher and the family of Ishaan were very happy and proud to him. Then the parents of Ishaan especially the father is very thankful to Mr. Nikumbh which is one of the reason why Ishaan change a lot and who did not give up on the boy. Ishaan also thankful to him because he really helped Ishaan a lot and he do his best to make Ishaan to be a better man despite of his dyslexia. The movie was entitled “Like Star on Earth, Every Child is Special”.
